A combination of the Holy Grails power , and the anger of Gilles de Rais , Jeanne became resurrected shortly after her execution . However , full of the anger and hatred that brewed within Gilles , this version of Jeanne has a much more prejudicial view of France and Religion , seeking vengeance upon those that condemned her in life . Acting as if France was her's , preaching justice , her own divine punishment is swiftly dealt .
